Saturday Drive Through - Food Give Away

In 2026 Eastside Baptist Church of Vernon will be holding their Food giveaway, in partnership with Feeding the Gulf Coast as follows: 

Available: Once Each Quarter on Saturday. Dates will be posted as scheduled.

Time: Begins at approximately 8 am. May vary due to the delivery truck arrival time. 

Next one: June20,  2026

Others will be September 26, 2026 and December 19, 2026

Available:

  • Thursday 10 am to 1 pm
  • Call between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM For more information
  • If possible, bring a tote or box for transport of items.

  • 24 HOURS/7 DAYS A WEEK

Location:

  • Sam Mitchell Vernon Library across from Dee's Restaurant

Items Available:

  • Food/Water
  • Personal Care Items
  • Children's Items
  • Self-help Books, Bibles, Guidance Reference Books, etc.
  • Blessing Items

Usage:

  • Take what you need today, then leave what you can when able.
  • If two or more items are available today, take only what you need today in case someone else has the same need.
  • If you need meats or other items not available in the Blessing Box, then contact the emergency food pantry above.
