Corona update: As of now EBC will be open on Sunday morning only (no night services until further notice). We encourage anyone who is considered high risk, has any kind of compromised immune system, or anyone who may have any symptoms whatsoever, to stay home. We will attempt to live stream the service through this Facebook page. If that fails, you can always check out the video later on our website, http://www.eastsidebaptistvernon.org
We will be encouraging everyone to practice social distancing. This means if you do come, we will ask everyone to spread out in the sanctuary. We will also not pass the collection plate. This is the hard part for our church family, we need to try to refrain from hugging each other.
Please, if you are a member of Eastside, please do not feel as if you are under any obligation to be there. You do what you feel is best for your protection.
On a personal note, I believe we should be using this unique season we have found ourselves in for an emphasis on prayer. I believe we are on the threshold of great revival. Nowhere in history will you find real revival that did not start with the prayers of the saints.
Now is the time for His church to respond, not react. Stand firm. Love God, Love One Another, Love Our Community!
